Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

   • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet up with your local guide.

    Head to Grand Africana Hotel for an overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Arusha to Ngorongoro (Masai) to Serengeti National Park

   • Head to Serengeti after an early breakfast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers breathtaking views of the landscapes, endless horizons, and abundant wildlife.

   • Pass through Masai territories in Ngorongoro on your route to Serengeti and learn about the Masai culture and tradition.

   Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp/Lodge.

3. Day 3: Explore Serengeti

   • Enjoy a full day of exploring wildlife around Central Serengeti, the ideal location for marvelling at the annual migration of large herds of animals at this time of the year.

   • Marvel at the endless plains that provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing; it truly is the ultimate safari country. 

   • Spot elephants, hippos, lions, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards and more. 

   Overnight at Katikati Tented Camp/Lodge.

4. Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • Enjoy a full day of game viewing at the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Be astounded as you stand on the rim, looking down a 10-mile wide crater floor with abundant wildlife. This crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera globally, covering approximately 260 sq km's with walls rising 600 meters from the crater floor. Before the Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed 2 million years ago, it was one of the world's tallest mountains.

   • Spot 30,000 large mammals that call this crater their home - mainly gazelles, buffaloes, elands, hartebeests and warthogs. This site has the highest predator density in the world.
