Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Center and Elephant Orphanage
Pick up from your hotel, then begin the tour with a visit to the Giraffe Center, an initiative dedicated to protecting the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. Enjoy feeding these wonderful creatures as you see them up close and learn why they are endangered. You will also learn about their behaviour, traits, and more through conservation education. To complete the visit, you will have the chance to feed them under the supervision of a trained staff member.
Head to the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage, which is only open for a short period each day. You will see the baby elephants being fed by staff and playing in the mud. Here, you will learn more about the elephants and what led them to become orphans. You will also get more information on how they are raised and the efforts being made to reintroduce them to the wilderness.
Stop for lunch at your own expense, then go to Nairobi National Park through the main gate for a 3-hour game drive. Your guide will aim to show you as much variety of wildlife as possible.
Spot rhinos and lions in the evening.
Depart from the park and be brought back to your hotel.
