3-Day Siem Reap Temple Tour with Tonle Sap and Kulen Mountain

Visit Angkor Wat Temple to begin the tour and be amazed by this undeniably beautiful temple and why people visit Siem Reap.

Then continue to Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, the Old Royal Residence, Phimeanakas Temple in the Royal Residence, and Palilay Temple.

Transfer back to your hotel.

Wake up early for sunrise at Angkor Wat Temple at 5:00 am. After sunrise, transfer back to the hotel for breakfast.

Angkor Wat Temple for sunrise is not too far from any hotels in town, so we recommend coming back for breakfast before continuing to see more temples. Alternatively, you can arrange breakfast boxes from the hotel, or there is an option to have breakfast at some restaurants near the temple area.

After breakfast, continue to Banteay Srey Temple, well-known for the most beautiful carvings of Khmer art, with deep ornate pink sandstone architecture.

Later, you are going to see more temples in the Grand Circle area, including some major temples such as the North Gate of Angkor Thom, Preah Khan Temple, Neak Poan Temple, Ta Som Temple, East Mebon Temple, and Pre Rup Temple.

Continue to the local village on the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia at Kompong Plouk Village to learn and experience how locals live their daily life on the bank of the amazing Tonle Sap Lake. This is a stilt-houses village.

Today, let's go to see the beauty of nature and waterfalls, the reclining Buddha on a natural hill carved during the 16th century, high on top of a 487-meter mountain, and the 1000 Shiva Lingams.

These Hindu religious stone carvings are a symbol of divine generative energy, especially a phallus or phallic object as a symbol of Shiva.

You will also see the carvings under the riverbed, dated back to the year 802 AD, when our Khmer King set up the Khmer capital on this mountain, which nowadays is called KULEN MOUNTAIN National Park.
