8-Day Socotra Adventure with Dragon's Blood Trees and Wild Camping

Your journey begins with a flight from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Socotra, with round-trip flights included in the tour package and arranged by us.

Fly from Jeddah to Socotra Island with Yemenia Airlines. Upon arrival, meet the local team at Socotra Airport and transfer to Hadibo, the island's main town, then check in at Summerland Hotel.

In the afternoon, head to Delisha Beach, where wide stretches of white sand meet the clear waters of the Arabian Sea. Enjoy a relaxed first afternoon by the coast and your first glimpse of Socotra's extraordinary landscapes.

Overnight at Summerland Hotel.

Head west to Qalansiyah, one of Socotra's main coastal towns and a traditional fishing community. Walk around the town and coastline to see the colourful fishing boats and get a glimpse of everyday life on the island. We take a boat to Shuab Beach, where pristine, crystal-clear waters meet a long stretch of golden sand. Along the way, there's a chance to spot spinner dolphins in the open sea, but sightings are never guaranteed. Mother Nature makes that choice for us.

From Qalansiyah, continue towards Detwah Lagoon, a spectacular protected coastal area surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. The lagoon combines shallow turquoise water, bright white sand, and dramatic rock formations, creating one of Socotra's most striking coastal landscapes. Take time to walk around the lagoon, explore the surrounding coastline, and, when conditions allow, swim in its clear waters. End the day watching the sun disappear behind the cliffs and sea.

After breakfast at Detwah Camp, we depart directly towards the Dixam Mountains, one of Socotra's most beautiful natural areas.

We will explore the stunning landscapes and the rare forests of Dragon's Blood Trees, enjoying the unique scenery throughout the day.

After breakfast at Shebhon Camp, we continue towards the south of the island.

Today we will visit the beautiful Aomak Beaches, the impressive Digub Cave, and the stunning Hayf sand dunes.

In the afternoon, we will enjoy the sunset among the camels and sand dunes.

After breakfast at Hayf Camp, we depart towards the eastern part of Socotra.

We will visit the beautiful Kalisan Wadi, where you can swim in the natural pools and enjoy the unique surrounding landscapes.

After lunch, we continue to the Dihamri Protected Area, famous for its beautiful coastline, marine life, and amazing coral reefs. There will be time for snorkeling and enjoying the area.

After breakfast at Dihamri Camp, we depart towards the Momi Mountains and Homhil Protected Area.

Here we will explore the rare trees and unique landscapes of the area, with time to swim in the fresh natural water pool and enjoy the spectacular views.

After lunch, we continue towards Arher Beach, famous for its beautiful coastline and huge sand dunes. We will also visit the northern tip of the island, where the ocean meets the sea, before enjoying the sunset.

After breakfast at Arher, we depart towards Hadiboh, the main city of Socotra.

From Hadiboh, we continue to Ayaft Valley, where we will have lunch and explore the beautiful tree forests and natural surroundings.

In the afternoon, we return to Hadiboh and have some free time to visit the local shops and markets.

Before sunset, we return to the hotel for the final night on Socotra.
