Gorge Swing and Zambezi White-Water Rafting
Act 1: The Gorge Swing
The Leap: Before your body gets tired from paddling, face the ultimate mental challenge. You will step out onto a wooden platform suspended 120 meters over the roaring Zambezi River.
The Drop: Experience a heart-stopping 70-meter vertical free fall before the ropes catch and launch you into a massive, sweeping arc across the 95-meter canyon expanse.
After the swing settles, you are winched back up to the platform.
Breakfast & Preparation: Eat a hearty breakfast and apply heavy waterproof sunscreen.
Rafting Pick-up & Safety Briefing: Meet your crew. You will receive your helmet, life jacket, and paddle, followed by a mandatory safety briefing at the top of the gorge.
Rafting Safety Briefing & Gear Up
Meet your river guides at the canyon rim.
Change into your rafting gear, strap on your helmet and life jacket, and complete a vital safety orientation covering paddling commands and flip drills.
The Descent to the River
Hike down the steep, rocky paths to the bottom of the gorge, where the rafts are waiting.
