Bagan Religious Highlights & Villages Tour
Stroll through the colourful local market and interact with the locals.
Continue to Shwezigon Pagoda, a Buddhist temple located in Nyaung Oo, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine.
Move to Gubyaukgyi, a Buddhist cave temple built in 1113 AD by Prince Yazakumar, and see the beautiful murals of Jataka scenes.
Visit Bu Lei thee Pagoda and also Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece with four standing Buddha images.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Proceed to one of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts and lacquerware craftsmen’s workshop in Myinkaba village.
Head to Manuha Temple built in Mon style by Mon King Manuha.
Follow on to Nanpaya Temple for beautiful stone carvings.
Walk to Bupaya Pagoda, standing in the shape of gourd or pumpkin.
Discover Shwe San Daw Pagoda, which contains five terraces, topped with a cylindrical stupa.
Watch the sunset over the famous Ayeyarwaddy River.
