Day by day
Depart early in the morning from Arusha for Serengeti National Park. After entering the park, enjoy your first game drive, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, and other wildlife. You will have a picnic lunch during the day before continuing with an afternoon game drive. In the evening, proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
On the second day, spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, head out on a morning game drive, which is an excellent time to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards while they are most active. After lunch, continue exploring different areas of the park before returning to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
On the third day, have an early breakfast and depart from the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you can see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch in the crater, leave Ngorongoro and continue your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the evening and concluding your 3-day safari.
