Day 01

Arrival in Victoria Falls

Day 02

Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park

Meals: After breakfast.
Drive: Drive to Hwange National Park.
Safari: After entering the park, begin your first safari experience.
Camp: Set up the mobile camp.
Game drive: Enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive.
Note: Hwange is Zimbabwe's largest national park and is known for elephants and a wide range of wildlife.
Overnight: Hwange mobile campsite.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 03

Full Day Safari in Hwange

Game drive: Take an early morning game drive when temperatures are cooler and wildlife is often active.
Meals/Rest: Return for breakfast and rest.
Meals: After lunch.
Game drive: Take a second game drive around suitable wildlife areas and water points.
Dinner: Return to camp for dinner around the fire.
Overnight: Hwange mobile campsite.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 04

Hwange to Kasane and Chobe National Park

Meals: Breakfast.
Departure: Depart toward the Kazungula border.
Border: Complete Zimbabwe-Botswana border formalities.
Continue: Continue to Kasane.
Game drive: Subject to timing and park access, enjoy an afternoon Chobe game drive.
Note: Chobe is particularly famous for elephants and its river ecosystem.
Overnight: Chobe mobile campsite.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 05

Full Day in Chobe National Park

Game drive: Early morning game drive.
Meals/Rest: Followed by breakfast and rest.
Game drive: Later, enjoy another game drive.
Wildlife: Wildlife may include elephants, buffalo, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelope and many bird species.
Optional activity: A Chobe River boat cruise can be added as an optional activity.
Overnight: Chobe mobile campsite.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 06

Chobe to Elephant Sands

Meals: Breakfast.
Travel: Travel south through Botswana toward Nata and Elephant Sands.
Note: This is mainly a travel day, with changing landscapes from the Chobe woodland to the drier interior.
Arrive/Camp: Arrive, set up camp and relax.
Wildlife viewing: Evening wildlife viewing around the water area is possible, but sightings are never guaranteed.
Overnight: Elephant Sands campsite.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 07

Elephant Sands to Makgadikgadi

Meals: After breakfast.
Continue: Continue toward the Makgadikgadi area.
Experience: Enjoy the wide open landscapes and salt-pan environment.
Camp: Set up the mobile camp.
Activity: Depending on the season and local conditions, take a guided experience around the pans.
Evening: Enjoy dinner and stargazing around camp in the evening.
Overnight: Makgadikgadi mobile campsite.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 08

Makgadikgadi to Maun

Meals: Breakfast.
Departure: Depart for Maun, the main gateway to the Okavango Delta.
Arrive: Arrive and settle into camp.
Activity: Depending on arrival time, relax or arrange a short local activity.
Evening: Evening at camp.
Overnight: Maun.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 09

Okavango Delta Wilderness Experience

Meals: Early breakfast.
Travel: Travel into the Okavango Delta for a guided wilderness experience.
Activity: Depending on water levels and availability, enjoy a mokoro excursion, birdwatching, and a nature experience on Delta channels and islands.
Activity: An additional game drive can be arranged where conditions and permits allow.
Return/Dinner: Return for dinner.
Overnight: Maun / Okavango area.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 10

Maun Departure

Safari activity: Enjoy an early morning final safari activity where departure time allows.
Return: Return to Maun for your onward flight.
End: The safari ends in Maun after the agreed transfer.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch, depending on departure time.

The Okavango mokoro experience depends on suitable water levels and local operating conditions. Optional 11-Day Version: If the itinerary remains as requested (Victoria Falls 1 night, Hwange 2, Chobe 2, Elephant Sands 1, Makgadikgadi 1, Maun 3), the trip becomes 11 days/10 nights. The extra Maun night can be added once accommodation and the selected Okavango activity are confirmed.
