Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport to Negombo

   • Get picked up at the airport and transfer to Negombo.

   • Explore the Negombo Lagoon, Angurukaramulla Temple, the local market for souvenir shopping, etc.  

   Overnight stay at Negombo.

2. Day 2: Sigiriya

   • Transfer from Negombo to Sigiriya.

   • En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants in Pinnawala village.

   • Enjoy an evening jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, spread across an area of about 100 sq. km to see Asian elephants, deers, bisons, monkeys and many other varieties of animals and migratory birds.

   Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

3. Day 3: Kandy

   • There are many places to visit while moving from Sigiriya to Kandy. On your way, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, which is renowned as a world heritage site.

   • En route, visit Herbal and Spicy Garden.

   • In the evening, take a Cultural Dancing Tour to witness the cultural dance forms of Sri Lanka.

   • Visit and seek blessings of Buddha from the famous Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

   Overnight stay at Kandy.

4. Day 4: Nuwara Eliya

   • Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden in the morning after an authentic breakfast at the hotel.

   • While driving to Nuwara Eliya, visit the 109 m high Ramboda waterfalls on the way.

   • There are options for tea plantation, and tea factory visits en route to see the entire process of tea plucking, all the way to making. Also, visit the Hanuman temple on the highway.

   Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

5. Day 5: Bentota/Galle & Departure

   • Partake in numerous activities when moving to Bentota, like White Water Rafting at Kithulgala, visiting the Turtle Farm, a small but has become a major tourist attraction. 

   Overnight stay at Bentota or Galle. Transfer to airport for onward plans.
