The itinerary

Day 01

Muscat to Sur via Bimmah Sinkhole and Scenic Wadis

From Muscat, stop at Hawaiyat Najm, known to foreigners as the Sinkhole, the Bimmah Sinkhole, or the Dabab Sinkhole, a large hole in the Earth's crust filled with some freshwater.
Continue to Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi, two of Oman's most scenic wadis.
Continue driving towards Sur, the historic centre of Oman's famous ship-building industry and still one of the prettiest towns in the south.

Overnight at Sur Plaza Hotel or similar.

Day 02

Sur to Wadi Bani Khalid and the Desert

In the morning, leave your hotel and head towards Wadi Bani Khalid for swimming and relaxing in a beautiful atmosphere.
In the afternoon, drive to visit the most beautiful desert in Oman, where you will enjoy the sunset among the dunes.

Overnight at Arabian Oryx Camp or similar.

Day 03

Desert to Nizwa and Birkat Al-Mawz Oasis

In the morning, head to the historic city of Nizwa and visit the souq and fort.
In the afternoon, drive to Barkat Al Mwaz Oasis.

Overnight at Al Dayar Hotel Nizwa or similar.

Day 04

Jabreen Castle, Bahla, Misfah, and Jabal Shams

This morning, drive to Jabreen Castle.
After this visit, drive via the old city of Oman, Bahla, to Misfah old village.
In the afternoon, drive to Jabal Shams for your overnight stay.
On the way, you will see the Grand Canyon in Oman, 3009 meters above sea level.

Day 05

Jabal Shams Hike and Return to Muscat

This morning, do a little hiking in the mountains.
After that, drive towards Al Hamra for a photo stop at the beautiful oasis and abandoned village, which is around 400 years old.
After this short stop, continue crossing the Hajar Mountains through Wadi Bani Awaf, the Snake Canyon.
At the end of this trip, your guide will drop you off at your hotel.
