4-Day Nyerere National Park Safari with boat and walking safaris

On the first day, you will meet your driver at your accommodation, the airport, ferry terminal, or any other designated location. The journey to Nyerere National Park takes approximately four hours, and you are expected to arrive around lunchtime.

After enjoying a meal, you can relax at the camp until around 4:00 PM. At that time, you will embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River. This excursion provides an excellent opportunity to observe crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and various other wildlife as they come to drink water until sunset. After this exciting adventure, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

The next two days will be dedicated to exploring Nyerere National Park through game drives. You have the option of either taking morning and afternoon game drives or choosing a full-day game drive experience.

During these drives, you will have the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and numerous bird species. The park is known for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes.

On this day, you will continue exploring Nyerere National Park through a full game drive, following the same activities as on the second day.

This is another opportunity to enjoy the park's wildlife and landscapes as you spend more time discovering the area by safari vehicle.

On your final day, you will start early with a walking safari led by local bushmen before breakfast. This unique experience allows you to learn about the flora and fauna of the region from knowledgeable guides, who share insights into traditional hunting techniques and survival skills.

After this enriching experience, you will return to camp for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
