  • Departure: About 7:00 am - Depart Kampala or Entebbe city with your driver-guide and head southwest of Kampala for a 2-hour drive to the Equator, located in Kayabwe along the Mpigi-Masaka Highway in Mpigi District.

  • Drive: Enjoy views of different villages in rural Uganda from your car along the way.

  • Activity: On arrival at the Equator, you will be welcomed by one of the local guides at the site and watch a Coriolis Water Experiment using a funnel, water, and a floating leaf or matchstick.

  • Activity: Stand in the middle of the world at the Uganda Equator, take photos, and obtain certificates showing that you have visited the Equator.

  • Refreshment: Enjoy a nice, authentic Ugandan local coffee at a local restaurant.
