Day 01

MyFarm Africa Community and Sustainable Living Experience

Embark on a 6-8 hour full-day journey, starting with pick-up from your accommodation and traveling through some of The Gambia's most iconic destinations.

Guided Garden Tour: Walk through lush organic gardens, discover eco-friendly farming practices and resourceful community projects, and understand how MyFarm empowers local schools and families.
Production Workshops: Learn about handmade soaps and body creams made from farm-grown ingredients, as well as mango jams, preserves, and moringa teas, while discovering the techniques and cultural significance of local products.
Cultural Exchange & Music: Meet staff and children in the bantaba, the traditional gathering space, participate in drumming, singing, and dancing, and engage in games, storytelling, and classes with local children.
Traditional Lunch & Attaya Tea Ceremony: Join the team to prepare a home-cooked Gambian lunch and experience the Attaya tea ceremony, a ritual of friendship, patience, and storytelling, while sharing meals, laughter, and cultural exchange.
