The itinerary

Day 01

Zanzibar to Morogoro with Maasai Village Experience

Your adventure begins in Zanzibar in the morning. You will take a boat from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam.

After arriving in Dar es Salaam, continue to the railway station for your train journey to Morogoro. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel from the coast toward mainland Tanzania.

Upon arrival in Morogoro, your private Alphard vehicle will be waiting for you. You will then drive toward Chambo Lodge, enjoying the countryside and landscapes along the way.

After checking in and settling in at the lodge, later in the evening you will visit a nearby Maasai village.

During the Maasai experience, you can learn about traditional Maasai culture, lifestyle, clothing, dances, and local traditions. This is an opportunity to interact respectfully with the local community and experience a different side of Tanzania.

Day 02

Full-Day Wildlife Safari in Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, prepare for a full day of wildlife exploration in Mikumi National Park.

Your safari vehicle and professional driver-guide will take you into the park for a game drive. Mikumi offers excellent opportunities to observe Tanzania's wildlife in a beautiful natural environment.

Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, hippos, and other wildlife. Depending on the season and animal movements, you may also have opportunities to see predators such as lions.

You will spend most of the day exploring different areas of the park, with time for wildlife photography and a picnic or lunch break during the safari.

After the game drive, return to Chambo Lodge for relaxation and overnight accommodation.

Day 03

Return to Zanzibar via Morogoro and Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, check out from Chambo Lodge and begin your journey back to Zanzibar.

Your private vehicle will transfer you from Chambo Lodge to Morogoro Railway Station in time for your scheduled train to Dar es Salaam.

From Dar es Salaam, continue to the ferry terminal for your boat journey back to Zanzibar.

Your safari ends upon arrival in Zanzibar.
