Day 01

Wadi Bani Khalid Swim and Bidiya Desert Sunset

Pick-up / meeting point: Burj Al Sahwa car parking area in Seeb, Muscat, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM.
Instructions: Receive trip instructions and the itinerary, and enjoy a short coffee before departure.
Drive: Travel for approximately 2.5 hours through mountain roads, villages, and desert landscapes until reaching Wadi Bani Khalid.
Walk: Walk between the rocks to explore the wadi until reaching a swimming spot.
Swimming: Swim in the natural pools among the rocks and spend around 2 hours at the wadi. There will be a place for changing clothes.
Drive: After enjoying the swim, leave Wadi Bani Khalid and continue to Bidiya with a drive of around 40 minutes across desert landscapes.
Lunch: Enjoy traditional Omani food for lunch at a local restaurant.
Desert: In the afternoon, enter the desert by 4x4 vehicle.
Visit: The first stop will be Al Bado House, a local home in an Arabic tent in the desert, where you will get to know local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Desert activities: Experience desert activities including dune bashing by 4x4 and camel rides.
Sunset: Continue deeper into the desert to another spot to enjoy the sunset view.
Return: In the evening, begin the return journey to Muscat with many beautiful memories.
