Day 01

Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park and Sunset Boat Safari

Meet your guide at an agreed-upon location in Dar es Salaam.
Stop for a quick and delicious lunch on the way.
Arrive at the game reserve in Selous.
Confirm your hotel check-in in the late afternoon.
Head out on an exemplary late-afternoon boat safari that continues until sunset.
Enjoy an overnight stay at Hippo Camp on a full-board basis.

Day 02

Walking Safari and Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Start the day with an early morning walking safari at 6:30 a.m., accompanied by a bushman and an armed ranger.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast after the energising walk.
Proceed for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park with a packed lunch.
Relax in the shade for lunch with a full view of one of the great lakes inside the reserve.
Watch exotic animals quenching their thirst by the lake while you rest.
Drive back to the camp while admiring a beautiful sunset.
Retire for the night at Hippo Camp on a full-board basis.

Day 03

Journey from Nyerere to Mikumi via Morogoro

Have an early and hearty breakfast.
Depart for Mikumi National Park, driving for 8-9 hours depending on road conditions. Experience some of the most scenic parts of Southern Tanzania, spotting villages and the Uluguru Mountains along the way.
Enjoy a short roadside lunch break like a local.
Arrive at Bastian Camp late in the afternoon and stay overnight on a full-board basis.

Day 04

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

Begin the day with an early breakfast.
Head out for an exhilarating game drive and spend the entire day exploring the flora and fauna.
Stop for a hearty lunch and then continue exploring the park.
Drive back to Bastian Camp while admiring an amazing sunset view, and stay overnight on a full-board basis.
