Monastery Visit, Morning Prayers, and Dhamma Talk
Hotel pickup: Your guide and driver meet you at your hotel to begin the visit.
Monastery exploration: Walk through the monastery's halls and courtyards, learning about its history, daily rhythms, and the life of the monks who study there.
Watching morning prayers: Observe monks gathered in prayer, taking in the chanting, ritual instruments, and quiet discipline of monastic practice.
Dhamma talk with a Khenpo: Sit with a Khenpo - a senior monk and scholar - for a talk on Buddhist teachings, offered through your guide's interpretation where needed. Questions are welcome.
Guided meditation: Take part in a short, guided meditation session led by a monastic teacher, offering a taste of contemplative practice.
A quiet word, if you wish: For those interested, a brief private moment with a monk is available for personal reflection or spiritual guidance - entirely optional, and offered with warmth rather than obligation.
Drop-off: Your driver returns you to your hotel once the visit concludes.
