Continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate. Along the way, the landscape gradually changes from fertile highlands to the vast golden plains that define the Serengeti ecosystem.

Arrive in the Central Serengeti in the afternoon and begin your first game drive through the Seronera Valley. This region is regarded as the heart of Serengeti due to its permanent water sources and year-round concentration of wildlife.

The Central Serengeti is particularly famous for its high density of predators. The Seronera River attracts large numbers of animals throughout the year, creating excellent opportunities to observe lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and many other species.

The afternoon game drive continues until sunset before proceeding to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 03

Full-Day Wildlife Exploration in the Seronera Valley

Today is dedicated to exploring the rich wildlife areas of Central Serengeti. After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive across the Seronera Valley and surrounding plains.

Central Serengeti is one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Africa because it supports a permanent population of animals throughout the year. Unlike seasonal areas that depend heavily on migration patterns, Seronera offers excellent sightings in every season due to its rivers, springs, and diverse habitats.

The morning game drive provides opportunities to search for Africa's famous predators. The area is well known for its large lion prides, elusive leopards often found resting in trees, and cheetahs hunting across the open grasslands.

During the afternoon, continue exploring different habitats including open savannah plains, acacia woodlands, and river valleys. The region also supports large populations of elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and numerous bird species.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic location inside the park before continuing with wildlife exploration until late afternoon.

Return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation and overnight.

  • Predator tracking

Day 04

Western Serengeti, Grumeti River, and Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, depart Central Serengeti and travel towards the western region of the park before continuing toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

The Western Serengeti, also known as the Western Corridor, offers a completely different landscape from Seronera. This area is characterized by the famous Grumeti River, riverine forests, woodland areas, and open grasslands.

The Western Corridor is particularly famous during the Great Wildebeest Migration season (approximately May-July), when thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather around the Grumeti River. The river is home to some of Africa's largest Nile crocodiles and provides one of the most dramatic wildlife experiences during migration crossings.

Outside migration season, the area remains rewarding with sightings of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, lions, leopards, and diverse birdlife.

Enjoy a game drive through the Western Serengeti before continuing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey provides spectacular views as you climb toward the crater highlands.

Arrive at your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the evening.

Day 05

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular wildlife experience.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most extraordinary natural wonders in Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed millions of years ago after the collapse of a large volcanic mountain, the crater creates a unique enclosed ecosystem supporting more than 25,000 large animals.

The crater floor consists of grasslands, forests, wetlands, and the famous Lake Magadi, attracting a remarkable concentration of wildlife. During the game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and many other species.

The crater is also one of the best places in Tanzania to search for the endangered black rhinoceros.
