Full-Day Safari to Mikumi National Park

Early in the morning, at around 05:00 am, you will be picked up from your residence, hotel, or airport in Iringa or Dar es Salaam to begin your journey to Mikumi National Park.
If you are picked up in Dar es Salaam, you will stop for breakfast in Chalinze before continuing the drive to Mikumi National Park. On arrival in Mikumi, you will check in and then begin your game drives, with a lunch break taken inside the park. The drive to Mikumi takes up to 6 hours.
Game drives continue until around 16:00, after which you will begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam or Iringa. In Mikumi, expect to see animals such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, and more than 300 bird species. The actual safari game drive inside the park may last up to 4 hours.
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam or Iringa, your day trip comes to an end.
