Day 01

Maun to Ntwetwe Salt Pan and Desert Sleep-Out

07:30 AM: Depart Maun by 4x4 open safari vehicle or air charter, traveling east toward Gweta on a journey of approximately 2 to 4 hours.
Afternoon: Arrive at a desert base such as Planet Baobab. From here, switch to a quad bike or 4x4 cruiser and trek across the vast, open grass plains to the edge of the Ntwetwe Salt Pan.
Sunset: Experience the absolute silence and watch the sun dip below the earth's curvature.
Night: Enjoy a hot bush dinner around the fire. Then sleep out in a bedroll directly on the salt crust, staring up at a brilliant, clear sky with zero light pollution.

Day 02

Sunrise Meerkat Walk and Return to Maun

Sunrise: Watch the sun rise over the flat horizon while enjoying coffee and a bush breakfast.
Morning: Embark on a famous wild meerkat habituation walk. Sit quietly among these curious creatures as they wake up, forage for food, and use you as a high lookout post.
Midday: Head back to the main road, passing historic, towering baobab trees.
