Arrival and Kabul's Historic Highlights
Upon arrival in Kabul, our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to Khyber Hotel for check-in and some rest before starting the city tour.
Before visiting the historical and cultural sites, we will first stop at a local money exchange market, where you can exchange your currency into Afghan Afghani. If you or the client are interested, we can also visit a traditional clothing shop to purchase Afghan clothes and experience local Afghan style. If needed, we will assist you in getting a local Afghan SIM card for communication and internet access during your stay.
We will then begin exploring Kabul's historical and cultural landmarks.
Our first stop will be Shah-e-Do Shamshira Mosque, one of Kabul's most recognizable landmarks, located near the Kabul River. The mosque is known for its unique architecture and historical importance.
Afterward, we will continue to Mandawi Bazaar, one of Kabul's oldest traditional markets, where you can experience local life and explore Afghan goods, spices, dried fruits, and traditional products.
Next, we will visit the Bird Market, a traditional marketplace where locals gather to buy and trade birds, offering a unique view of Kabul's old traditions and daily life.
We will then explore Murad Khani, one of Kabul's oldest neighborhoods, known for its traditional houses, narrow streets, and cultural heritage.
In the afternoon, we will visit Sakhi Shrine, one of Kabul's most respected religious and cultural sites, famous for its beautiful blue architecture and spiritual atmosphere.
The final stop of the day will be Babur Gardens, a historic garden and the resting place of the first Mughal Emperor, Babur. The garden offers a peaceful environment with traditional architecture, fountains, and beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
