Pick-up from your accommodation near Mount Kilimanjaro or Moshi, or directly from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), in a private 4x4 or transport vehicle.
09:00 AM - 10:00 AM | Scenic Off-Road Drive
Drive time is approximately 50-60 minutes. Travel through Boma la Ng'ombe before heading onto off-road dirt trails that pass sugarcane plantations, dry riverbeds, baobab trees, and local Maasai and Rundugai villages. On clear mornings, enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
10:00 AM - 10:15 AM | Arrival & Orientation
Arrive at the hidden oasis surrounded by massive fig trees. Change into your swimwear, receive a brief orientation from your guide, and secure your belongings.
10:15 AM - 01:00 PM | Morning Activities at the Springs
Enjoy thermal swimming as you dive into the warm geothermal turquoise pool, naturally maintained at around 27°C / 81°F.
Try rope swinging by launching off the tree-mounted rope swing into the deep section of the spring.
Experience a natural fish spa by resting on the shallow ledges and letting the small doctor fish (Garra Rufa) clear dead skin from your feet.
01:00 PM - 02:00 PM | Local Picnic Lunch
Enjoy a fresh hot meal or packed picnic lunch under the shade of giant palm and fig trees.
02:00 PM - 03:30 PM | Afternoon Relaxation & Exploration
Take a relaxed swim, sunbathe on the banks, or take photos around the oasis.
You also have the option to take a brief walk around the surrounding village and river ecosystem with your guide.
03:30 PM - 04:30 PM | Return Journey
Towel off, pack up, and begin the drive back to the Kilimanjaro area, Moshi, or the airport.
04:30 PM - 05:00 PM | Drop-Off
Arrive back at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
