UNESCO Silver Mine and Tarnowskie Góry Discovery

Morning transfer from your Warsaw accommodation to the UNESCO-listed Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry. The drive takes about 3 hours and covers 280 km. On arrival, enjoy a full sightseeing tour of the Silver Mine.

After the mine visit, continue with a sightseeing tour of the Silesian town of Tarnowskie Góry, including a visit to a traditional restaurant and a break at the picturesque market square. We will also discover many local places that make Silesia so different from other parts of the country.

Know before you go

The tour is wheelchair accessible after prior appointment. The boat ride might not be possible, though getting down is absolutely possible. The car is a standard AC 8-seat van.
The tour is available to kids, too. You can use a stroller.
IMPORTANT: You go up and down to the mine by elevator. In one part of the walk, there is a lower ceiling, and you might need to duck a little over a longer stretch of the corridor. You need to step into a boat by going 2 steps down for a short underground boat ride.
It is quite cool down there (below 10 Celsius, 54 Fahrenheit), so have long sleeves on.
The meal is planned around 14:00-15:00.
