Delhi to Agra by Train with Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
Pick up from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida. Drive to Nizamuddin Railway Station to catch the superfast train to Agra, for which you will be provided with e-tickets either by email or through our driver. The train departs at 8:00 am.
Meet our driver or representative at the main exit gate upon arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station (AGC) at 9:50 am. He will be holding a placard with your name. After a warm welcome, board your private vehicle.
Visit the legendary Taj Mahal. No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands as a testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th-century Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal.
Proceed to Agra Fort. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles.
Stop for lunch at a multi-cuisine restaurant.
Enjoy shopping in this city, which is known for its fabulous handicrafts. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts, and Empress Nur Jahan took a personal interest in them and was herself an accomplished artist in zari embroidery work.
Transfer to Agra Railway Station, where our representative will assist you in boarding your train (Train No. 12049) back to Delhi. The train departs at 17:50. Dinner will be served on board.
Reach H. Nizamuddin Railway Station at 7:30 pm, where you will meet our representative or driver, who will assist you in boarding your vehicle and drop you at your hotel. End of tour.
