Day 01

Kolkata Landmarks, Temples, and Heritage Sites

• Pick-up from your hotel at 9:00 am.
• Explore Victoria Memorial, the famous museum of Kolkata, dedicated to the memory of Empress Victoria. The memorial lies on the Maidan and is one of the most visited monuments in Kolkata.
• Visit a few temples, including Dakshineswar Kali Temple, where the presiding deity is Bhavatarini, a form of Parashakti Adya Kali, otherwise known as Adishakti Kalika, and Calcutta Jain Temple, which was built in 1867.
• Spend time at Mother Teresa's House, which has now been converted into a museum.
• Travel to Belur Math, one of the significant institutions in Kolkata.
• Depart from Belur Math at 5:00 pm and travel back to your hotel.
