The itinerary

Day 01

Airport Pickup and Sigiriya Heritage Sites

Get picked up from the airport.
Visit the Sigiriya Lion Rock and the Dambulla Cave Temple, constructed by King Walagambahu and today standing as a renowned World Heritage Site.

Day 02

From Sigiriya to Kandy via Cultural Landmarks

Proceed to Kandy.
Visit Kandalama Reservoir, a spice and herbal village, and a Hindu temple.
Explore the Tooth Temple, venerated in Sri Lanka as a cetiya relic of Gautama Buddha, on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. Later, enjoy a cultural dance show.

Day 03

Journey to Ella with Waterfall and Tea Factory Visit

Proceed to Ella, a small town in the Badulla District of Uva Province. The area has a rich biodiversity and is dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna.
Go to Ramboda Waterfall and a tea factory.

Optional: Go on a train journey from Nanuoya to Ella.

Day 04

Ella Sightseeing and Transfer to Udawalawa or Yala

Proceed to Udawalawa or Yala, home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants, and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species.
