Day 01

Victoria Falls Rainforest and Transfer to Kasane

Morning activity: explore the spectacular Victoria Falls rainforest on the Zimbabwean side. You can add on a scenic helicopter flight or a bungee jump off the historic Victoria Falls Bridge.
Afternoon transfer: depart Victoria Falls for a roughly 1.5-hour road transfer toward the Kazungula border.
Evening: cross into Botswana and head to Kasane, the gateway to Chobe, for your evening stay at a riverside lodge.

Day 02

Chobe River Safari and National Park Game Drive

Morning river cruise: embark on a 3-hour Chobe River safari. This gives you up-close views of large herds of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and prolific birdlife from the water.
Lunch: enjoy a buffet lunch at a local riverside lodge such as the Chobe Safari Lodge.
Afternoon game drive: board an open 4x4 safari vehicle for a 3-hour game drive deep into Chobe National Park, known for its massive predator populations.

Day 03

Morning Game Drive, Chobe Cruise, and Transfer to Maun

Enjoy a morning game drive in Chobe National Park, followed by a late breakfast and time at leisure back at the lodge. In the afternoon, depart at around 15:00 for a boat cruise on the Chobe River, where you may encounter elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife, offering excellent close-up photographic opportunities.
Our safari ends after you are transferred to Maun Airport in time for your departure flight.

What to bring

Dress in layers: morning boat cruises on the Chobe River and early open-air 4x4 game drives can be freezing due to windchill. Wear a warm fleece or windbreaker over light, neutral-colored daytime clothing.
Waterproofing: bring a lightweight rain poncho or waterproof jacket. The spray from Victoria Falls is heavy enough to drench your clothes and cameras on the rainforest path.
Sun & bug defense: pack high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and insect repellent. Chobe is a high-risk malaria zone, so consulting a doctor about prophylactics before your flight is recommended.
No drones: operating drones is strictly prohibited across all national parks in Zimbabwe and Botswana to protect wildlife.
Binoculars: wildlife in Chobe is abundant, but a good pair of binoculars significantly improves your views of lions, leopards, or distant birds from the safety of your vehicle or boat.

Zimbabwe entry fees: ensure you budget for the updated tariff structure. International day visitors at the main gate of the Victoria Falls Rainforest must pay $58 USD per person.
Botswana entry fees: international adult visitors entering Chobe National Park pay BWP 270 per day (approximately $20 USD).
