Day 01
Datanla, Pongour, Elephant Falls and Highland Culture
- Get picked up from your hotel at any convenient time between 7:00 and 10:00 am.
- Admire the beauty of Datanla Waterfall, one of the most easily accessible falls near Da Lat. It is nestled beneath the canopies of the primeval jungle, with soft white waters flowing over rock shelves and dropping into Death Valley. Those looking for thrills should try the mini roller coaster ride from the top of the falls, while an easy 15-minute walk leads to the base.
- Stop at an ethnic minority village and observe the local lifestyle.
- Watch silkworm rearing and the silk-making process at the Silk Factory.
- Visit Linh An Pagoda, home to a giant Happy Buddha statue that, according to local beliefs, brings happiness and luck. It is also the tallest giant Lady Buddha statue in Vietnam.
- Eat lunch at a local restaurant.
- Visit the beautiful and majestic Pongour Waterfall in the Central Highlands, standing 40 m high and more than 100 m wide. Surrounded by unspoiled forest, the waterfall flows over layers of sandstone, stepping down from top to bottom.
- Enjoy the imposing wild scenery of Elephant Waterfall, which is 35 m high and 40 m wide, and is the second-largest waterfall in Lam Dong province. Next to the waterfall is Wind Cave, with a narrow entrance between two cliffs. Inside, the cave opens into many wide spaces, and the wind roars like thunder.
- Stop at the Me Linh Coffee farm to learn about the coffee-making process. Dalat is known for producing some of the best coffee beans in the world, so after a quick history lesson, you will also have the chance to drink some coffee.
- Drop off at your hotel.
