Sunset, Street Food, and Phra Samut Chedi
04:00 PM - Meet up at BTS On Nut We'll meet right in front of Century The Movie Plaza Sukhumvit, connected to BTS On Nut Station. From there, we'll catch the BTS Skytrain heading south to BTS Pak Nam Station. The train ride takes exactly 23 minutes, giving us a comfortable, air-conditioned glimpse of the outer suburbs.
04:30 PM - Ferry Crossing & Phra Samut Chedi Once we arrive at Pak Nam, we'll take a short walk to the pier and hop on a local ferry to cross the Chao Phraya River. Our destination is Phra Samut Chedi, often called the "Floating Pagoda." Built in the early 19th century, this iconic white chedi used to sit on a small island in the middle of the river, serving as a spiritual beacon for sailors coming into Thailand. Today, the surrounding water has been reclaimed, but it remains a deeply sacred site for locals, rich in history and completely free from the usual temple crowds.
06:00 PM - Sunset by the River We'll take the ferry back to the Pak Nam side just in time for golden hour. Then we'll enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverside promenade to soak in the breeze, watch the boats pass by, and snap some beautiful sunset photos.
06:30 PM - Food Hunting at Pak Nam Evening Market Next, we'll dive into the bustling Pak Nam Market. As evening falls, this place comes alive with street food vendors. This isn't a sanitized tourist market - it's where locals buy their dinner. I'll help you pick out and try authentic local dishes, snacks, and refreshing drinks.
07:30 PM - Head Back to Bangkok After filling our bellies, we'll walk back to the BTS station and take the train back to the city.
08:00 PM - Tour Ends We'll arrive back at BTS On Nut Station, where we say our goodbyes.
