Padang Culture, Cooking Class, and Sunset Views
.00 - 10.00: I will pick you up from the airport or hotel, then we will go to enjoy a local breakfast such as 'lontong gulai', 'lontong pical', and 'bubur kampiun'.
.00 - 11.30: Next, we are heading to the Adityawarman Museum. It's the best place to learn about the Minangkabau culture that defines our city. You'll see everything from traditional wedding altars and royal replicas to ancient manuscripts and archaeological finds such as statues and menhirs. It is truly the heart of West Sumatra's historical preservation.
.30 - 13.00: We are going to have lunch at a traditional restaurant that serves authentic Minangkabau flavors.
.00 - 14.00: Head to the Grand Mosque of West Sumatera - Syekh Ahmad Khatib Al Minangkabawi. It is the most architecturally beautiful mosque in West Sumatera.
.00 - 17.00: Cooking Class with a local cook. You will learn how to cook local dishes like rendang, a traditional drink, and some local snacks.
.00 - 18.30: We are going to Hill's Cafe & Resto Padang. It offers a spectacular vantage point to admire Padang's city lights and coastal scenery from above, providing an ideal introduction to the city's natural beauty. It is one of the best spots in Padang to enjoy stunning sunset views and fresh mountain air.
.00 - 20.00: Enjoy Padang at night with a drive around the city to see the lights.
.00 PM - Finish: Drop-off at your hotel.
Note: Everything in the itinerary is open for discussion and can be adjusted to your preferences.
