5-Day Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari with Wildebeest Migration

• Pickup: We will pick you up from your Arusha accommodation and proceed to Tarangire National Park.

• Game drive: After a full-day game drive, you will be transferred to the lodge in the evening for dinner, a warm shower, and an overnight stay.

Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s largest national parks, located in the Manyara region. It is renowned for its large elephant herds, tree-climbing lions, and iconic baobab trees, often referred to as the Tree of Life due to the near-mythical significance attributed to them in some cultures.

The park is also distinguished by the Tarangire River, which flows year-round and serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season.

• Visit: We'll visit Serengeti National Park in Central Seronera, known for its diverse wildlife, including the "Big Five" - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes.

• Game drive: After a full-day game drive, you will be transferred to Serengeti Tortilis Camp in the evening for dinner, a warm shower, and an overnight stay.

The park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and hosts 200,000 zebras, 300,000 Thomson's gazelles, and wildebeests, creating an unforgettable wildlife experience.

This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site located west of Arusha in the crater highlands of Tanzania. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest caldera. The stunning landscape of Ngorongoro, with its vast expanses of highland plains and a concentration of some 25,000 animals, makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth.

• After breakfast: We will drive to Lake Manyara via a Maasai village.
• Afternoon: In the afternoon, you will be taken to the airport.

The park derives its name from the Maasai word Manyara, which refers to the plant Euphorbia tirucalli, used by the Maasai to grow livestock stockades. Manyara produces a stock-proof hedge that is very durable among similar kinds. A specimen of Euphorbia tirucalli can be found at the entrance gate of the Great Rift Valley, part of the fault line in the earth's crust that stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the mouth of the Zambezi River in Mozambique.
