Day 01

Hiroshima, Itsukushima Shrine and Atomic Bomb Dome

Travel from Osaka to Hiroshima, the city made famous by the Allied bombings.
Visit the Itsukushima Shrine with your Japanese tour guide. This Shinto shrine on the island of Itsukushima is best known for its "floating" torii gate.
Make your way to the Atomic Bomb Dome, which remains unique because, despite being located almost directly underneath the explosion, it somehow avoided complete destruction. The remains of the building still stand today.
Return to Osaka.
