Sightseeing in Old Kathmandu
Start walking to the old market Asan from your hotel and meet your tour guide.
Visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old royal palace complex which also houses a number of magnificent Hindu temples.
Walk through the ancient settlement of Kathmandu and learn about village life here.
Cross the river and hike up to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the monkey temple. Take in the serene views of Kathmandu valley from the stupa.
Take a boat ride down the Bisnumati River, alight near your hotel.
