Go west to the valley between the Cordillera de Domeyko and the Cordillera de la Sal, known as Llano de la Paciencia (Patience Flat), on this short guided hiking tour. Hike across this striking landscape to visit the seven lagoons of Escondidas de Baltinache, a recently discovered site in one of the driest areas of the Salar de Atacama Basin, where it is possible to bathe in two lagoons. The experience ends with amazing sunset views from the Valle de Marte viewpoint.

Llano de la Paciencia Hike and Baltinache Lagoons Sunset

Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and transfer to Llano de la Paciencia, or "Patience Flat".
Hike for about 1 hour to reach Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache, one of the driest places in the Salar de Atacama Basin. This recently discovered site features 7 lagoons that emerge from below the surface, and it is possible to bathe in 2 of them.
Continue to the Valle de Marte viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular sunset view.
Transfer back.
