The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Luang Prabang

Arrive in Luang Prabang. Check in and relax at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02

Mekong Cruise, Pak Ou Caves and Kouangsi Waterfall

After breakfast, embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the tranquil countryside and explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
Stop at the village of Ban Xanghai and taste the local rice wine.
On the return journey, visit the traditional villages of Ban Xienglek and Ban Xangkong, where handmade jute paper is produced.
Disembark from the cruise and drive to Kouangsi waterfall, about 30 km south of Luang Prabang.
Visit Ban Ou Meuangkhai Village, a perfect viewpoint for great photos of the terraced rice paddy fields and, of course, to see the local lifestyle.
Head to Kouangsi waterfalls and swim or relax by the clear pools of the terraced limestone formations.
Walk through the forests and spot black bears.

Overnight stay in Luang Prabang.

Day 03

Elephant Camp and Transfer to Vang Vieng

After breakfast, depart for the elephant camp before transferring to Vang Vieng by road.
En route, visit the minority Khmu and Hmong tribes for photos. Enjoy the terrain, landscape, and local life in the countryside.
Arrive in Vang Vieng late in the afternoon.
Check in to the hotel and spend time at leisure.

Day 04

Bicycle Tour to Phukham Cave and Blue Lagoon

Proceed to Phukham Cave by bicycle.
Cross the suspension bridge and enjoy the views of the rice paddy fields.
En route, trek to the top of Pha Ngeun cliff, a perfect viewpoint over Vang Vieng town.
Continue to the Blue Lagoon. Relax or enjoy a swim in the lagoon before heading back to your hotel.

Day 05

Vang Vieng to Vientiane and Tour End

Early in the morning at 8 AM, you will be transferred to the fabulous Vientiane.
En route, stop at the fish market and visit Vang Xang, famous for its stone carvings in the forest dating back to the 13th century.
Continue your drive to Vientiane, the charming and fascinating capital of Laos. This small town conjures up exotic images, with its curious mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and French influences.
In the afternoon, explore the town and see Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple standing in Vientiane. This impressive structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha images.
Depart to Luang Prabang.
Upon arrival, end of the tour services.
