The itinerary

Day 01

Trek from Bắc Hà to Lung Phình

Start walking from Bắc Hà to Ban Phố, a village famous for the traditional Flower H'mông people and its corn liqueur.
Rice terraces in the valley appear as the trail reaches Lau Thi Ngai.
Break at noon for a picnic under the shade.
Continue trekking to Lung Phình in the afternoon.

Stay overnight in the home of a Phù Lá tribe family.

Day 02

Trek from Lung Phình back to Bắc Hà

After breakfast at the homestay, begin walking along the track to a Black Dao village.
Reach the top of Three-Mother and Children Mountain to see the most beautiful landscapes around Bắc Hà.
Have a picnic lunch at noon.
Continue the downhill trek to Thai Giang Pho and Na Lo village.
Come back to Bắc Hà after spending time with locals in the villages.
Return to Lào Cai.
