2-Day Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from İstanbul with İzmir Flight

Early morning pickup from your hotel in İstanbul. Transfer to Atatürk Airport for your flight to İzmir.

Upon arrival in İzmir, your guide will meet you at the airport.

Visit the Temple of Artemis (Diana), one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. It is known as the commercial, religious, and social center of antiquity and is one of the highlights of the region.

After lunch, visit the House of Virgin Mary.

Also see the Isa Bey Mosque. This impressive mosque dates from the 14th century A.D. and is unlike any other you will see in this country.

Visit the Pamukkale Travertines and Hierapolis. This ancient city is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties of the water, pure white travertines and stepped water terraces have formed on the mountain slope. Because of its resemblance to cotton piles, it is called 'Cotton Castle' in Turkish.

Swim in the thermal waters on the way to a 4-star hotel for lunch.

Then visit the travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis, which has the biggest necropolis in Anatolia, with 1,200 gravestones. Its shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient Roman ruins lying beneath.

After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to İstanbul.
