9-Day Kenya Wildlife Safari with Samburu, Olpajeta and Masai Mara

• On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be received by our staff and introduced to your safari guide.

• Drive to Mountain Lodge in the Mount Kenya region. The tree lodge is built next to a waterhole where animals come to drink.

• Relax for the rest of the day, watching the animals from the rooftop or the balcony.

Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge.

• At 08:30 am, after breakfast, load up and drive further north, crossing the equator to Samburu Game Reserve for a game drive.

• Later, check in at Samburu Lodge and have lunch.

• Relax for some time before taking the afternoon game drive in search of oryx, Grévy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuks, lions, leopards, and elephants.

After sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

• At 06:00 am, go for an early morning game drive in search of the cats and other animals.

• Later, return to the lodge for breakfast.

• Relax by the swimming pool for the rest of the day, or visit the Samburu community, who are closely related to the Masai people.

• Go for another game drive in the afternoon. Drive deep into the semi-arid game reserve in search of more animals.

• Return in the evening, before dark.

Dinner and overnight.

• At 07:30 am, after breakfast, check out, load up, and drive to Olpajeta Conservancy.

• Enjoy a game drive en route, and later, check in at Serena Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp for lunch.

• Relax for some time before heading out for the afternoon game drive around the park in search of the Big Five, including rhino.

• Also, visit the chimpanzees and the tamed rhino, Baraka.

Later, return for dinner and overnight at the camp.

• At 08:00 am, after breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park through the Great Rift Valley.

• Check in at Flamingo Hill Luxury Camp and have lunch.

• Later, head out for an afternoon game drive. Look out for rhinos and other animals, as well as flamingos and other water birds.

After sunset, but before dark, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

• At 06:00 am, after an early morning game drive, return to the camp for breakfast.

• After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha.

• Check in at Sopa Lodge and relax before lunch is served.

• After lunch, take a boat tour around the lake and a short walk around Crescent Island.

Later, return to Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

• After breakfast, check out and drive to the famous Masai Mara game reserve.

• You will arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch.

• After lunch, relax before going for the afternoon safari drive.

• Drive deep into the savannah grassland in search of the big prides of lions, rhinos, and other animals that the park is famous for.

• After sunset, return to the camp.

Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

• Breakfast will be served early.

• Afterwards, head out with picnic lunch boxes and spend the day in the park, searching for the Big Five and other animals.

• Drive to the Mara River to see the hippos and crocodiles. You might also be lucky and see the wildebeest migration and river crossing, if it is the right time of the year.

• Break for lunch under the acacia tree.

• After lunch, continue with the safari drive before returning to Mara Sopa Lodge later in the evening.

Dinner and overnight.

• Pre-breakfast, go for an early morning game drive.

• Return to the lodge for breakfast.

• Check out and drive to Nairobi city, where you will be dropped off at the airport.
