Day 01

Danube Bend Discovery in Esztergom, Visegrád and Szentendre

Drive to Esztergom, the first capital of Hungary, and visit the largest basilica. Enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of Slovakia.
Continue to Visegrád, the former royal town, where you can see one of the best panoramic views in the country and visit the medieval Citadel, which offers exhibitions. You can also have lunch here.
Arrive in Szentendre, the town of artists, which looks like an Italian village. Built on Romanic ruins, it invites you to enjoy a walk around the charming historical centre, where you can admire winding cobblestone streets, beautiful churches, 18th-century baroque architecture, and cosy little cafes. Choose from several museums, such as the Marzipan Museum, and enjoy free time for shopping or coffee.
