Pick up from your hotel and visit three tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
Continue to the dramatic mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as Deir El Bahri, built into the rock face by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C.), the only pharaonic woman who reigned in ancient Egypt.
Later, pass the fabled Colossi of Memnon, two vast statues of Pharaoh Amenophis III.
