Visit St. Catherine Monastery, the oldest Greek Orthodox monastery in the world still in operation. This 6th-century monastery, built by order of the Roman Emperor Justinian, encloses the Chapel of the Burning Bush commissioned by Helena, the mother of Constantine, at the site where Moses (peace be upon him) spoke with the Lord. Inside, you will see the Church of the Transfiguration, Moses' Well, and one of the world's richest collections of icons and precious manuscripts.

The itinerary

Day 01

St. Catherine Monastery and Dahab City Excursion

In the early morning

You will be met by our Egyptologist and transferred from your hotel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to St. Catherine Monastery. The drive takes about three hours through the desert, and you will enjoy the landscape along the way.

Lunch & shopping

Then, we will drive for approximately 90 minutes to Dahab City, where you will have lunch at a restaurant located in front of the Gulf of Aqaba and enjoy shopping in the local bazaar.

Drive back to Sharm

At the end of the tour, we will drive back to Sharm and enjoy the sunset on the way.
