The itinerary

Day 01

Overnight Mount Sinai Hike and St. Catherine Monastery

Get picked up in the evening and travel by coach with our Egyptologist on a 3-hour transfer to the city of St. Catherine.
Upon arrival in St. Catherine, begin hiking Mount Sinai with a Bedouin escort. The mountain stands 2,285 metres above sea level. There are two routes to the peak: the camel path, which covers 7 km and takes about 3 hours, and the second route of 3,750 steps located behind the Monastery of St. Catherine. You will reach the summit in time for sunrise.
After sunrise, descend to visit the monastery, where you will see the Burning Bush, the Church of Transfiguration, and Moses Well.
Return to Sharm El Sheikh at around 1:30 p.m.
