Day 01

Old Town Walk with the Synagogue or Old Town Hall

• Meet your tour guide at the predetermined location to begin your tour.
• Visit the Old-New Synagogue, one of the most notable synagogues in Europe. Built in the 13th century, it became an emblematic site of the former Jewish Quarter. Its Gothic-Renaissance interior remains practically intact, giving visitors an unparalleled feeling of numinosity and peculiarity.
• Alternatively, explore the Historical Old Town Hall. The building is composed of five originally separate medieval houses and represents one of Prague's most interesting sights. The tour takes you through historic halls, some medieval and some decorated in Art-Nouveau style. There is also a Gothic chapel in the Astronomical Clock Tower, where you can take a close look at the statues of the apostles, whose hourly procession at the Astronomical Clock is one of Prague's main attractions.
• At the end of the tour, take a trip back in time into the underground of the town hall, down to the level of the original Romanesque streets.
