3-Day Masai Mara Safari from Nairobi with Mara River Game Drives

• Start the trip with a pick-up either from the airport or your Nairobi hotel by the crew.

• Transfer to the office, where you will meet the guide and be introduced to the other group members.

• Commence the holiday between 08:30 am and 08:45 am, with a first stop at the viewpoint to see the Great Rift Valley escarpment wall.

• Descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok Town, where you will have an early lunch.

• Drive to the great Masai Mara Game Reserve and reach Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

• Check in, followed by an evening game drive until sunset.

Back at the camp, dinner and your overnight stay will be served.

• Begin the day with a full breakfast at the camp.

• Leave the camp before 08:00 am for 8 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Make sure your cameras are fully charged and that you have enough water. You will have a great day with an extensive game drive until you reach the Mara River, which is the border between Maasai Mara and Serengeti, and also the Great Migration crossing point. If it is migration time, from July to October, you may witness the crossing; otherwise, you will see crocodiles and hippos.

• Break for a picnic lunch and continue with the game drive until 1700 hrs.

• After the long hours in the park, you will have two hours for an optional activity: visit the Maasai village, take a nature walk, or relax at the camp.

Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

• Have a cup of tea or coffee by 06:00 am.

• Depart for the morning game drive to see the sunrise, and if you are lucky, you will be able to see the wildcats when they are active. Normally, lions hunt at dawn, and you may be lucky enough to take a great video.

• Leave the park for a full breakfast between 08:30 am and 09:00 am, then check out and drive back to Nairobi.

• Arrive in Nairobi to be dropped off at your place or transferred directly to the airport to catch your flight to another destination.
