Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

   • Arrive in Kathmandu.

   • Transfer to your hotel by private tourist car.

   • Early evening, get an overall briefing about your trip.

2. Day 2: Buddha Stupa, Hanuman-Dhoka (Kathmandu) Durbar Square, Pashupatinath & Swoyambhunath

   • Have breakfast.

   • Begin the tour by visiting Buddha Stupa. It stands approximately 6-7 km northeast of the centre of Kathmandu. It is believed that this great stupa was built during the Kashayapa Buddha’s end period and beginning period of Shakyamuni Buddha. This is one of the largest Buddha Stupa in the world.

   • Visit Hanuman-Dhoka Durbar Square. It is popularly known as Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is a complex of beautiful temple and shrines, both Hindu and Buddhist. Most of them are built in pagoda style, built between the 12th and 18th centuries. 

   • Go to Pashupatinath Temple then. Pashupatinath is Lord Shiva, God of the Gods. It is one of the holiest temples of the world, revered and worshipped both by Hindus and by Buddhists.

   • Head to Swayambhunath temple. It is situated about 2 km northwest in the centre of the Kathmandu valley. It is both a Buddhist and a Hindu Temple. The origin of Kathmandu valley is closely linked to this temple. It is also known as Monkey Temple, where a lot of monkeys live. It is also a small viewpoint for seeing the Kathmandu valley.

3. Day 3: Bhaktapur Durbar Square

   • Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square with our Kathmandu tour guide. It is a plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom.

   • Have lunch break and shop for souvenirs in the local market.

   • Farewell dinner at the hotel. 

4. Day 4: Final Departure

   • Drop off at the airport.
