Lima to Nazca, Huacachina and Paracas
Leave for Nazca. The city is located on the Ica River, about 460 km south of Lima, along the desert coast of southern Peru. Further south along the Pan American Highway lies the city of Nazca.
Arrive in Nazca and drive to Nazca Airport.
Take a flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines. These enormous linear drawings of animals, birds, and geometric figures remain etched in the desert and can only truly be appreciated from the air.
Visit the Huacachina Lagoon, surrounded by sand dunes.
Ride dune buggy cars through the Ica desert, going up and down the dunes, and enjoy sandboarding.
See the sunset from the desert.
Drive to the Paracas Peninsula and see the most important wildlife sanctuary on the Peruvian coast.
