Day 01

Pastoruri Glacier and Lake Pachacoto Full-Day Tour

Enjoy breakfast in the morning at the hotel before departing at 8 am and driving south of Huaraz for 25 km to visit Recuay province.
Continue to Pachacoto after another 15 km from the highway.
Stop next to the lake for birdwatching, where you may spot wild ducks, Andean geese, and other birds.
Head to the gasified water stream.
Witness the enormous Puya Raimondi flowers and the changing-color lake of Pumapampa.
Move on to see the petroglyph carvings.
Arrive at the Pastoruri parking area, from where you will walk about 1 km to reach the ice mountain.
After a few hours of stay, drive back.
