Day 01

Delhi to Agra Tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

Meet your guide and driver at your hotel or the airport in Delhi.
Drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway in a private vehicle.
Visit the Taj Mahal and learn about the colorful history of this incredible monument, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Stop for lunch at around 1:00 pm and enjoy delicious Indian cuisine at a local restaurant.
Head towards Agra Fort. This imposing red sandstone fort was built by Akbar, the third Mughal emperor, in 1565 AD, and combines both Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles.
Walk around and learn about the fort's rich history from your guide.
Return to Delhi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.
