4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari with Big Five Game Drives

• This morning, drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest's migration. It is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino.

• Have lunch at the lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run - the Mara Game Reserve, one of the greatest wildernesses in the world.

• Other wild animals to watch out for are the Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland, impala, zebra, topi, Thomson's gazelle, and more.

Overnight stay at Sentrim Mara.

• The search for great predators and their cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains, there is a great possibility of seeing enormous herds of grazing animals, as well as the elusive cheetah or a leopard hiding behind acacia boughs. Masai Mara remains one of the most exciting wildlife ecosystems in the world.

• Our mid-day meals will either be a picnic or served at the camp.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

• Travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. En route, stop for lunch.

• After lunch, an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The wildlife in this park is plentiful, and the magnificent birdwatching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant visitor. The park is home to stunning flocks of lesser and greater flamingos, which turn the lakeshore into a magnificent pink stretch.

• It is also one of the very few places in Africa where you can see the White Rhino and the rare Rothschild Giraffe.

• After the game drive, return to the lodge.

Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

• Start the day with an early breakfast, followed by a game drive where we can see hundreds of thousands of flamingos and hundreds of other bird species playing near the shallow edges of Lake Nakuru.

• This is the place to be if you wish to spot other game such as white rhino, lion, warthog, antelope, baboon, and more.

• Return to the hotel before lunch and freshen up. Have lunch on time.

• Check out of the lodge or camp and depart for Nairobi by road.

• A leisurely scenic 2-hour drive brings us to Nairobi.

• Transfer to your hotel or residence.
