Day 01

Explore Tirana and Ride the Cable Car to Dajti Mountain

• Meet the group at 8:00 am.

• Begin your tour of Tirana by visiting the National History Museum.

• Follow this with a stop at the Et'hem Bey Mosque, built in 1830.

• See the Opera House (National Theater of Opera and Ballet) overlooking Skanderbeg Square.

• Take a walk along the main boulevard and see the City Hall, along with a number of government buildings on both sides.

• Arrive at the National Gallery of Arts during this walk.

• At noon, take the cable car, built by the Austrians, to Dajti Mountain, 1200 m above sea level.

• Relax and take a short break for coffee or lunch at a restaurant on the mountain.

• Return to the city in the evening and visit the former Communist residential area.

• Visit bars, restaurants, and pubs (optional).
